Methods to Maintain and Extend the Life of Steel Strapping Machines

The presence of a foreign material in the lower tab prevents the stretching process. You can continue to use your machine by removing the strapping residue stuck to the lower tab by blowing air or using a piece of plastic strapping. ATTENTION! Never try to remove it with a metal or sharp product. In this case, the lower and upper tabs will be damaged and your machine may need to be serviced.
If your machine is tearing the hoop or if the hoop is thrown while stretching, the tension setting or the source setting may not be set appropriately for your hoop. Find the correct setting by gradually increasing and decreasing the tension and source settings.
